Flip Flops welcomes up to 8 guests - is TRULY gulf front, 2 private bedrooms (queen bed in each) and a bunk room, plus a queen sleeper sofa. Sleek yet coastal decor - the kitchen has EVERYTHING you'll need whether your a foodie trying out all of Galveston's great eateries and bringing leftovers home for a late night snack or you plan to prepare meals while you are here - there's a 2 burner cooktop, a countertop oven, microwave, large refrigerator, plenty of prep space on the large peninsula, and all the appropriate cookware, dinnerware, glassware. Or grab a cup of coffee - step out on the balcony and watch the waves and the people.
Close to what you need - shopping (literally next door to the big box W store where you'll find everything from groceries to swimwear and beach towels) some quick bite places and of course the beach. Centrally located to the Galveston streets that will take you anywhere you want to go - from entertainment (movie theater less about 2 miles away, miniature golf, go-karts, ax throwing) or the major attractions like Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, Pleasure Pier, the strand and literally across Seawall boulevard from Babe's Beach - with controlled crossing at the corner. If your plans include seeing Galveston - you won't find a better spot.
We are pleased to manage this property on behalf of its owners - as each condo is privately owned at this complex. We manage several - so if you have a larger group - family reunion, dance, cheer or sports team - and need places for the entire group - we're your one stop shop to find everyone a great place at the same complex so you can have "together" time but still have your own privacy as well.
You will have exclusive use of the entire condo - and share the pools, hot tubs, fitness center, tennis court and grounds including BBQ pergolas, fish cleaning station and a multitude of outdoor spaces with other guests and residents of the Victorian condominium complex.
You certainly COULD stay here without a car - you can walk to shopping, eateries and the beach, there is public transportation nearby, and there are several local and nationally "branded" taxi services as well as ride share (Uber, Lyft) programs in place as well as meal deliveries (UberEats, ASAP (formerly WAITR) and DoorDash available as well.
We provide self check in instructions 24-72 hours prior to arrival - and when you are on vacation - YOU ARE ON VACATION. Should you need to reach us, however, we are but a phone call or email away and ready to assist you. We are happy to answer any questions at any time, but to ensure we give you the correct code we cannot provide access instructions earlier than this.
The Victorian complex staff will greet you at their office upon arrival to verify you are a registered guest and collect the Facilities Access Fee that they charge all guests on property which is $35 per stay up to 14 days or $70 per month - and this fee provides you with up to 6 wristbands that identify you as registered guests on the property - codes to the entry gates both drive through and walk-through, as well as codes to access pools, outdoor restrooms, fitness center - as well as up to 2 parking permits valid for the duration of your stay.
What's included: Bed linens for all beds, bath, hand and wash cloth for each guest that the unit welcomes. We do not provide beach/pool towels and we do ask that ours not be removed from the condo and taken to the beach or pool. They can get damaged or lost.
Starter supplies: 2 rolls of 2-ply, quilted toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, a dishwasher tablet, small dishwashing liquid, sponge, 2 small soaps, 2 small shampoos, trash bag, and coffee including sweeteners, stir sticks, powdered creamer to make that first pot. These are not intended to last your entire group through your entire stay - but to get in, get situated and figure out where you will shop for what on the island.
The Victorian complex does not allow renters to have a pet – so if you travel with Fido or Fifi – please check out the other My Galveston Getaway managed properties that ARE dog friendly. While true service animals are an exception – you very well may be asked by the complex to provide the verification. For short term rental/vacation purposes – emotional support animals are not considered true support animals and we are unable to make exceptions to a rule that is in place and enforced by a complex in which we manage condos. Kindly be respectful. All properties managed by My Galveston Getaway are 100% non-smoking/non-vaping properties.

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $100.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges (less $100.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
