Come relax, recharge, and reconnect with the coast at Saltwater Soul, a charming second-floor condo at The Victorian on Galveston’s famous Seawall! Perfect for up to four guests, this inviting getaway is ideal for a romantic escape, small family vacation, or relaxing trip with friends.

There is something special about standing along a vast shoreline and watching the waves roll in. Everyday worries seem smaller, the mind feels quieter, and the rhythm of the ocean invites you to slow down and breathe. Throughout history and across cultures, salt and water have symbolized cleansing, renewal, and the release of life's burdens. That peaceful, restorative feeling inspired the name Saltwater Soul.

🏡 Your Home Away from Home

Saltwater Soul features an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area that extends onto the balcony.

Bedroom: Comfortable queen bed, walk-in closet, and wall-mounted television.

Bathroom: Beautiful custom-tiled shower.

Living Area: Relax, watch television, or plan your island adventures. The sofa converts into a bed for additional guests.

Kitchen: Convenient space for preparing meals, snacks, and morning coffee.

Balcony: Step outside and enjoy the coastal air.

The entire condo is exclusively yours. The Victorian's pools, hot tubs, fitness center, tennis court, and outdoor amenities are shared with other guests and residents.

🏖️ Location, Location, Location!

The Victorian sits on Seawall Boulevard, directly across from Babe's Beach. Traffic signals at both ends of the property provide designated pedestrian crossing points.

A large Walmart is right next door for groceries, shopping, and vacation essentials. Sandwich shops, barbecue restaurants, and other eateries are within walking distance.

You can enjoy Galveston without a car! Walk to the beach, shopping, and nearby restaurants, or use public transportation, taxis, Uber, Lyft, Uber Eats, and DoorDash.

☀️ The Victorian's Shared Amenities

Enjoy these complex amenities during your stay:

Two swimming pools, including one that is seasonally heated.

Two hot tubs.

Fitness center and tennis court.

Barbecue grills, picnic areas, and pergola-covered spaces.

Outdoor showers near the pools.

Fish-cleaning station.

Multiple outdoor gathering and relaxation areas.

Pay-per-use laundry facilities accepting credit and debit cards.

Please note: There is no washer or dryer inside the condo. Laundry facilities are located within the complex. Amenities may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance.

🚗 Parking, Resort & Amenity Fee

The Victorian charges a separate parking/resort/amenity fee. This fee is established and collected by the complex, not by the condo owner or My Galveston Getaway.

1–7 consecutive nights: $40 plus tax.

8–31 days: $80 plus tax.

Extended stays: $80 plus tax per month.

The fee includes up to two parking permits. Payment is made directly to The Victorian upon arrival. We cannot collect or prepay this fee for you.

The complex will issue your parking permit and may provide guest wristbands. You'll also receive access codes for the vehicle and pedestrian gates, pools, hot tubs, and fitness center, along with the current Wi-Fi password. The complex-wide Wi-Fi password changes monthly.

Thank you for understanding that this fee is set and collected by the condominium complex.

☕ Starter Supplies & Linens

We provide starter supplies to help you settle in, including paper towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, conditioner, dishwashing supplies, a trash bag, and coffee.

These supplies are intended to get you started, not last your entire stay. Plan to purchase additional items as needed.

All beds are made with fresh linens before arrival, so there's no need to bring or rent sheets.

We provide one bath towel, one washcloth, and one hand towel per guest, based on the property's maximum occupancy.

Beach towels are not included. Customized beach towels are available to rent for $35 for your entire stay. A credit card is required in case a towel is not returned; replacement cost is $25 per towel.

🧹 Easy Checkout

Vacation is for relaxing! We don't expect you to clean the condo or strip the beds before leaving.

We simply ask that you:

Remove all food from the condo and refrigerator.

Leave a note sharing favorite restaurants, souvenir shops, or excursions you discovered.

Lock the door behind you.

Come back and visit us again!

After beach visits, please use the outdoor showers near the pool when possible and shake sand from towels before coming inside. If sand gets into the condo, we appreciate a quick sweep. Sand can make floors slippery, and safety comes first!

📋 Reservation & Check-In

After your reservation is confirmed, you'll receive a link to complete our rental agreement.

In addition to information provided through Airbnb, we request your personal email address, the names and ages of everyone staying at or visiting the property, your driver's license information, and an emergency contact.

Please complete the agreement promptly so we can send your check-in information.

Approximately 3–5 days before arrival, we'll email the booking guest driving directions and check-in instructions. About 24–48 hours later, we'll call to confirm you received everything, verify the access code, and answer last-minute questions.

We generally give our guests plenty of privacy, but we're always available if you need assistance. Please don't hesitate to reach out!

🌡️ HVAC Guidelines

Please follow our HVAC professionals' recommendations:

Do not change the thermostat by more than 3 degrees per hour.

In summer, do not set the AC below 70°F.

In winter, do not set the heat above 74°F.

Keep the fan setting on AUTO.

Do not operate the system while doors or windows are open.

Keep the difference between outdoor and indoor temperatures to no more than 20 degrees to reduce strain on the system.

👨‍👩‍👧 Occupancy

Maximum occupancy is four people. Every person counts regardless of age, size, or sleeping arrangements. Occupancy limits are established in accordance with applicable fire department and condominium association requirements.

Yes, even infants count toward occupancy, although we don't count a pregnant woman twice!

Please ensure your reservation accurately reflects everyone in your party.

📺 TVs & Wi-Fi

Bring your login information for your personal streaming subscriptions if you'd like to use them on the Smart TV. Remember to log out of personal accounts before departure.

Wi-Fi is provided through The Victorian's complex-wide network. The current password is provided by the complex upon arrival.

🐾 No Pets | 🚭 No Smoking or Vaping

The Victorian does not allow renters to bring pets. If you're traveling with Fido or Fifi, please explore other dog-friendly properties managed by My Galveston Getaway.

Qualifying service animals are an exception, subject to applicable law. Emotional support animals are not treated as service animals under the rules applicable to short-term vacation rentals, and we cannot waive restrictions imposed by the complex.

All My Galveston Getaway properties are 100% smoke-free and vape-free. Thank you for respecting these policies.

🌧️ Island Weather & Travel Protection

Galveston is a barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico. Rainstorms, thunderstorms, and occasional hurricanes can affect the island and cause temporary power or Wi-Fi outages.

We strongly encourage guests to consider trip cancellation or interruption protection through Airbnb or another provider.

My Galveston Getaway issues refunds when a governmental official orders a mandatory evacuation of the island, in accordance with our applicable policy. We cannot control sunshine, temperatures, mosquitoes, or other weather conditions. Refunds for these circumstances are not provided except as required by our evacuation policy or applicable law.

🛗 A Note About Elevators

Elevators along the Gulf Coast can be susceptible to malfunctions because of moisture, humidity, and salt air. The Victorian's elevators are maintained by the complex, not My Galveston Getaway.

When we learn of an outage, we notify the complex, request an estimated repair time, and share available information upon request. We appreciate your patience if an elevator is temporarily unavailable.

Please use elevator buttons appropriately, avoid playing in elevators, and do not hold doors open unnecessarily. Children should be supervised.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $100.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges (less $100.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
