Located in the popular Maravilla condominium complex, Ocean Vista 3 is a truly special vacation home designed for families, friends, and multi-generational groups who want plenty of space, comfort, and resort-style amenities.

THE MARAVILLA EXPERIENCE
The Maravilla complex recently invested nearly $2 million in updates and improvements to its aquatic facilities, creating some of the most impressive resort-style amenities on the island.

You’ll have access to:

Three swimming pools, including a heated pool for year-round enjoyment

Two hot tubs

A spectacular pool with approximately 330,000 gallons of water, complete with a palm tree growing from its center island

Tanning ledges, comfortable lounge chairs, and a palapa for shade

A zero-entry west pool, perfect for little ones

A heated east-side pool with a large new hot tub

A splash pad for the youngest guests

Grills and picnic tables throughout the pool area

With so much to enjoy on-site, you may find that some members of your group never want to leave the complex!

From Ocean Vista 3's balconies, you can see two of the pools and the beautifully landscaped tropical grounds.

Ocean Vista 3 comfortably sleeps 10 guests in beds, with the possibility of accommodating up to 12 guests with additional sleeping arrangements brought by your group.

Bunk Beds
Across from the third bedroom, you'll find true twin bunk beds, each equipped with outlets and USB charging ports — perfect for kids.

The living room also features a brand-new queen-size sleeper sofa, giving everyone a comfortable place to sleep without sacrificing your king beds to accommodate a larger group.

Please note that bedding and towels are provided for the 10 guests accommodated in the listed beds. If you bring additional sleepers, you'll need to provide the additional bedding and gear.

A KITCHEN READY FOR ANYTHING
The spacious kitchen is fully equipped for everything from preparing a gourmet family dinner to reheating leftovers from one of Galveston's many fantastic restaurants.

A washer and dryer in the condo

The kitchen opens directly into the living room, making it easy for everyone to stay together while meals are being prepared.

The comfortable living room has seating for the whole group, whether you're gathering for movie night, playing family games, or simply relaxing after a day at the beach.

Sliding doors open to one of the condo's two balconies, overlooking the lush tropical grounds and pool area. It's the perfect spot for morning coffee, an afternoon cocktail, or simply enjoying the Galveston breeze.

ABOUT MARAVILLA
Maravilla is a condominium community of 164 privately owned condos. Some owners live here full-time, while others use their condos as personal Galveston getaways. Others, including the owners of Ocean Vista 3, welcome visitors to enjoy their homes.

PARKING & RESORT AMENITY FEE
The Maravilla complex charges a $10 per vehicle per day parking/resort amenity fee, up to a maximum of $70 per vehicle per month.

This fee is charged by the complex, not My Galveston Getaway, and is outside our control.

STARTER SUPPLIES & LINENS
We provide starter supplies of toiletries, paper products, dish-cleaning supplies, and coffee to help you get settled after arrival. These are intended as starter supplies rather than enough for your entire stay.

For the 10 guests accommodated in the condo's beds, we provide:

One bath towel per guest

One hand towel per guest

One washcloth per guest

Two dish towels

Beach Towels
We no longer automatically provide beach towels because, unfortunately, too many went home as souvenirs!

Beach towels are available for $40 for 10 towels per stay, which covers the additional laundry. Please request them in advance of arrival. A credit card will be kept on file in case the towels are not left at the property.

Additional housekeeping or linen changes during your stay may also be arranged in advance for an additional fee.

DOG-FRIENDLY — BY APPROVAL
Ocean Vista 3 may accommodate dogs only, on a case-by-case basis.

If approved:

$75 non-refundable fee per dog

Maximum of 2 dogs

Certain breeds are not permitted

We may request a photo of your dog before approval

Dogs may not be on furniture unless you provide your own protective covers

Dogs must be kenneled when their humans are away from the condo

We recommend traveling with your dog's veterinary records

Please obtain approval from My Galveston Getaway before arrival. Failure to disclose a dog or pay the required fee may result in termination of the reservation without refund.

Honesty is always the best policy!

HVAC GUIDELINES
Please help us care for the home's HVAC system by following these recommendations from our HVAC professionals:

Do not change the thermostat more than 3 degrees per hour.

In summer, do not set the AC below 70°F.

In winter, do not set the heat above 74°F.

Keep the fan setting on AUTO.

Turn the HVAC system off when doors or windows are open.

Maintain no more than a 20-degree difference between outdoor and indoor temperatures to prevent excessive strain on the system.

CONSTRUCTION NOTICE
There is currently construction taking place in one building within the complex. It does not affect Ocean Vista 3 or the amenities available to our guests.

RENTERS AGREEMENT & CHECK-IN
After making your reservation, you'll receive a link to complete our renters agreement.

The additional information we request beyond what is typically provided through VRBO/Airbnb includes:

Personal email address

Names and ages of everyone staying in the property

Driver's license information

Emergency contact information

Please complete the agreement promptly so we can provide your check-in instructions.

WEATHER & TRAVEL INSURANCE
Galveston is a barrier island on the Gulf of Mexico, and weather can occasionally be unpredictable. Rain, thunderstorms, tropical weather, and hurricanes can occur, and there may occasionally be brief interruptions to electricity or Wi-Fi.

We cannot guarantee perfect weather, sunny days, or mosquito-free evenings, and refunds are not provided for these circumstances.

We recommend considering trip cancellation/interruption protection through your booking platform or another provider.

Refunds are issued in the event of a mandatory governmental evacuation or if the property becomes unavailable because of damage or an extended power outage.

CANCELLATION POLICY
More than 30 days before arrival: $100 cancellation fee; remaining amount refunded.

14–30 days before arrival: $100 cancellation fee; 50% of the remaining amount refunded.

0–13 days before arrival: No refund.
