Welcome to Beachy Keen at the Victorian – where everything is special and room abounds in this 1-bedroom/1-bathroom condo welcoming up to 6 guests with an expanded balcony and amazing views to both the gulf and one of the complex’ 2 pools!

The Victorian is a gated condominium complex located on Galveston’s Seawall, with protected crossing at the corner to Babe’s Beach where you can frolic in the waves, people watch, work on your tan, swim, rent beach chairs & umbrellas or take a romantic stroll along the beach.

Beachy Keen features a private bedroom closed by a sliding barn door (so it does not lock), twin bunk beds in the alcove that the young and young at heart will love, and a sleeper sofa in the spacious living room area so we welcome up to 6 guests in this condo. Should you have a larger group let us know – we manage quite a few condos at this complex and can likely get you as close (or as far away) as you want to be from each other! The kitchen has a range (yes, even an oven), a coffee bar, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and everything you could need to enjoy meals from homecooked meals to leftovers – cookware, dinnerware, drinkware, etc.

Visiting Galveston for one of the many competitive events hosted here? Cheer, dance, sports tournaments or conferences? Weddings, family reunions, class reunions, festivals, homes tours, or any other groups? Why squeeze into a tiny hotel room when your entire group could stay in their own condos and enjoy "together time" at the pools, hot tubs, etc. instead!

Being in walking distance to a big box store makes shopping a breeze whether for food and beverage selections, beach necessities you may have forgotten, or souvenirs to remind you of your trip to the Texas gulf coast.

The Victorian complex is located across from Babe’s Beach on Galveston’s Seawall – protected by traffic signals at both corners so you can safely walk across to the beach. There’s a huge big box store that starts with a W next door for all your shopping needs, and eateries in walking distance for sandwiches and BBQ.

You will have exclusive use of the entire condo - and share the pools, hot tubs, fitness center, tennis court and grounds including BBQ pergolas, fish cleaning station and a multitude of outdoor spaces with other guests and residents of the Victorian condominium complex.

The complex has 2 pools – at least one of which is heated in the seasons when God does not do this for us. There are two hot tubs, a fitness center and picnic/BBQ areas. There are also 2 hot tubs, a tennis court, and BBQ grills and picnic areas sprinkled around the complex. There are several pay per use laundry centers at the complex. There is not a washer or dryer inside of the condo itself but there are pay per use centers at several locations at the complex.

What's included: While we provide our guests with self check-in information and instructions, you can call us with any questions you may have at any time.

All people are considered people regardless of age or size or how they “usually” sleep. Occupancy rules are set by the homeowners with the guidance of the fire department. Thank you for recognizing that even infants count in the occupancy (though we don’t count pregnant women twice.) You certainly COULD stay here without a car - you can walk to shopping, eateries and the beach, there is public transportation nearby, and there are several local and nationally "branded" taxi services as well as ride share (Uber, Lyft) programs in place as well as meal deliveries (UberEats, ASAP (formerly WAITR) and DoorDash available as well. We provide self check in instructions 24-72 hours prior to arrival - and when you are on vacation - YOU ARE ON VACATION. Should you need to reach us, however, we are but a phone call or email away and ready to assist you. We are happy to answer any questions at any time, but to ensure we give you the correct code we cannot provide access instructions earlier than this. Bed linens for all beds, one bath, hand and wash cloth for each guest that the unit welcomes. We do not provide beach/pool towels as when we did – they continuously went home with our guests. If you wish to “rent” beach towels from us – it is $30 for condos that accommodate up to 6 guests. Which is only the additional cost of the laundering of them – labor time, laundry products, etc. We will need to have a credit card on file for this as if there are beach towels missing upon your departure, the charge is $25 per towel. We ask that our bath towels not be removed from the condo and taken to the beach or pool. They can get damaged or lost. Starter supplies: 2 rolls of 2-ply, quilted toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, a dishwasher tablet, small dishwashing liquid, sponge, 2 small soaps, 2 small shampoos, trash bag, and coffee including sweeteners, stir sticks, powdered creamer to make that first pot. These are intended to get you started while you make your list and decide where to shop (there is a WalMart, Kroger, Randall's, Arlan's and Target on the island, as well as many mom & pop grocery stores.

The Victorian condominium complex is located on Seawall Boulevard with protected (traffic signal) crossing at the corner for ease of getting to the beach. You will be close to shopping and eateries - so whether you plan to experience Galveston's culinary adventures or save money by cooking in (some or all of your meals) it's convenient from this central Seawall Boulevard Location.

The Victorian condominium complex – like almost every condominium complex and hotel in Galveston, charges a parking/resort/amenity fees. This is not a charge from My Galveston Getaway and is paid directly to the complex upon your arrival. They will issue a parking permit and may issue wristbands that identify guests who are authorized at the complex. They will also provide guests with the codes for the gates to enter the property - both drive-through and walk through, pools, hot tubs, fitness center and the WiFi code which is changed monthly. It is a complex-wide WiFi system. The charge is $40 + tax and includes up to 2 parking permits. This is for stays that are up to 7 consecutive nights in duration. For stays of 8-31 days it is $80 + tax, and for extended stays it is $80 + tax per month. We are unable to collect this in advance and pay it to the Victorian on your behalf. We don’t get to make the rules, we just play by them!

Many of our owners have switched out to “Smart” TV’s – so bring your login information with you to sign in to your own subscription services, and don’t forget to log-out before leaving.


The Victorian complex does not allow renters to have a pet – so if you travel with Fido or Fifi – please check out the other My Galveston Getaway managed properties that ARE dog friendly. While true service animals are an exception – you very well may be asked by the complex to provide the verification. For short term rental/vacation purposes – emotional support animals are not considered true support animals and we are unable to make exceptions to a rule that is in place and enforced by a complex in which we manage condos. Kindly be respectful.

All properties managed by My Galveston Getaway are 100% non-smoking/non-vaping properties. After making your reservation you will receive a link to complete our renters agreement. The only information we request differently than the booking platforms (VRBO/AirBnB) is your personal email address, the names and ages of each person who will be in the property during your stay, and your driver’s license information as well as an emergency contact should we need to reach someone on your behalf. Thank you for completing this in a timely manner so that we may send you the check-in instructions for the property you have reserved.

Galveston is a barrier island located in the Gulf of Mexico. The island is susceptible to rainstorms, thunderstorms and even a hurricane now and then. Sometimes these result in temporary power and WiFi outages. We strongly encourage our renters to consider purchasing trip interruption/cancellation protection either through the platform that you book through or some other source. My Galveston Getaway issues refunds if a governmental official issues a mandatory evacuation of the island. Unfortunately we are unable to control sunshine, temperatures and mosquitos and do not refund other than pursuant to our policy based on evacuation orders. Thank you for understanding. You certainly can purchase trip cancellation/interruption coverage through those platforms as well if you so desire.

Again – the parking/resort/amenities/facilities fee is one charged by the condominium complex, not by the owner of the condo or My Galveston Getaway and we appreciate your understanding.

For all reservations made directly through our website and through VRBO, there is a $300 security deposit “hold” required., this is a damage “deposit” hold. This is released once our housekeepers advise that the property has been left in the condition received with no damages occurring during your stay. This is not a charge, but a hold on the credit card on file with which the reservation is made. Should there be damages and they exceed $300 to repair or replace, you will be notified and asked to make arrangements to compensate for those items.

Elevators on the gulf coast, especially this close to the beach, are more susceptible than others to malfunction due to the moisture, humidity and salt air. Thank you for understanding that we at My Galveston Getaway have no control over the functionality of elevators. Any time we become aware of an elevator outage we ensure that the complex is aware, and request an ETA for it's repair, and we will share that information with our guests when asked about it.

Our rates can vary up to 4 times each day and are based upon supply and demand. When you see it - you should book it, because the rates will likely increase.

The owners of this amazing condo purchased in 2024 for personal use and to share with those visiting Galveston. They lovingly and very thoughtfully remodeled it keeping guests in consideration with every decision from kitchenware to bedding - for comfort & conveniencee.
