Welcome to Sandy Shores – a wonderful privately owned 2 bedroom + bunkroom condo at the Victorian condo complex. Guests were in mind with every decision made in this welcoming condo.

The primary bedroom with queen bed has gulf views out the bay window, and en-suite half bath. There is a second half bath in the hallway – and accessed through each of these two half baths is the bathing area. There is a second bedroom with a queen bed, a bunk area with a curtain for privacy, and the sleeper sofa in the living room makes the property able to welcome up to 8 guests. The living room offers a door to the private balcony of the condo from which you’ll watch the birds soar, the water meet the sky, and the beach goers enjoying sunbathing, surfing and sandcastle building. There’s a dinette table in this area as well which is open to the kitchen with large refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, 2 burner electric cooktop and countertop oven so you can warm leftovers from the hundreds of restaurants featuring every type of cuisine imagineable from fast food to fine dining, or whip up a family favorite meal. Cookware appropriate to the cooking options, dishware, glassware, cookware – it’s all right here for your use during your stay. The Victorian complex has two simming pools – both of which are heated in the off-season, 2 hot tubs, a tennis court, BBQ grills and picnic areas/pergolas around the grounds. You won’t run out of things to do. Galveston’s Babe’s Beach is across Seawall Boulevard from the condo, and there is a protected crossing at the corner just a few steps from the complex entrance. Also within walking distance you’ll find a pizza place, a big box store (won’t mention names but it starts with a W), a fro-yo shop and more. Galveston has much more than a beach to welcome you – from history to museums, to architecture, shopping, an entertainment venue with movie theater & bowling alley, another with go-karts and axe throwing – you’ll want to extend your stay to fit it all in – or make several trips to Sandy Seashores as our returning guests will receive a “repeat offender” discount.

You certainly COULD stay here without a car - you can walk to shopping, eateries and the beach, there is public transportation nearby, and there are several local and nationally "branded" taxi services as well as ride share (Uber, Lyft) programs in place as well as meal deliveries (UberEats, ASAP (formerly WAITR) and DoorDash available as well. We provide self check in instructions 24-72 hours prior to arrival - and when you are on vacation - YOU ARE ON VACATION. Should you need to reach us, however, we are but a phone call or email away and ready to assist you. We are happy to answer any questions at any time, but to ensure we give you the correct code we cannot provide access instructions earlier than this. The Victorian complex staff will greet you at their office upon arrival to verify you are a registered guest and collect the Facilities Access Fee that they charge all guests on property which is $35 per stay up to 7 consecutive days or $70 per month - and this fee provides you with up to 8 wristbands that identify you as registered guests on the property - codes to the entry gates both drive through and walk-through, as well as codes to access pools, outdoor restrooms, fitness center - as well as up to 2 parking permits valid for the duration of your stay.

What's included: Bed linens for all beds, bath, hand and wash cloth for each guest that the unit welcomes. We do not provide beach/pool towels and we do ask that our towels not be removed from the condo and taken to the beach or pool. They can get damaged or lost. We do have beach towels available for “rent” and the cost is what we pay to have them laundered - $20 for 8 towels. We will need to have a credit card on file – as our towels tend to go home with folks as souvenirs, and when that happens we will charge $25 per towel to the credit card on file so that we can have them replaced and available for future guests.

Starter supplies: 2 rolls of 2-ply, quilted toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, a dishwasher tablet, small dishwashing liquid, sponge, 2 small soaps, 2 small shampoos, trash bag, and coffee including sweeteners, stir sticks, powdered creamer to make that first pot. These are not intended to last your entire group through your entire stay - but to get in, get situated and figure out where you will shop for what on the island.

Traveling with a group? This condo sleeps 8 and we manage the unit next door, Salty Kisses, which sleeps 8. We at MyGalvestonGetaway manage 30+ condos at this complex, as well as others across Galveston – so if you are traveling with a competition dance or cheer team, a sports team coming for one of the tournaments Galveston hosts, a wedding, family reunion, or any other group – we can accommodate over 100 people at this complex alone! We can get you as close together as you want – or as far away from each other and we won’t even tell them you asked us to do that.

The Victorian complex does not allow renters to have a pet – so if you travel with Fido or Fifi – please check out the other My Galveston Getaway managed properties that ARE dog friendly. While true service animals are an exception – you very well may be asked by the complex to provide the verification. For short term rental/vacation purposes – emotional support animals are not considered true support animals and we are unable to make exceptions to a rule that is in place and enforced by a complex in which we manage condos. Kindly be respectful. All properties managed by My Galveston Getaway are 100% non-smoking/non-vaping properties.

After making your reservation you will receive a link to complete our renters agreement. The only information we request differently than the booking platforms (VRBO/AirBnB) is your personal email address, the names and ages of each person who will be in the property during your stay, and your driver’s license information as well as an emergency contact should we need to reach someone on your behalf. Thank you for completing this in a timely manner so that we may send you the check-in instructions for the property you have reserved.


Galveston is an island in the Gulf of Mexico. We sometimes experience rain storms, thunderstorms, an occasional hurricane and even freezes in the early part of the year. We encourage guests who have concerns about needing to cancel to please purchase trip interruption or cancellation coverage through the platform or another source. We issue refunds in the event of mandatory, government ordered evacuations; or if a property is uninhabitable. We aren’t able to offer refunds nor can we control things like sunshine, rain, or cold. We wish we could promise moderate temperatures, sunshines, no mosquitos and blue skies – but those things are out of our control and we thank you for understanding.

Beginning with all reservations made on or after May 10, 2025 – there will be a policy change in that WE must collect $35.00 for every reservation at the Victorian which will include up to 2 parking permits, the number of wristbands equivalent to the number of people that the property is advertised to sleep, WiFi password, codes to entry gates and codes to access all property amenities. This will be reflected in your charges when you make your reservation. Should you have more than 2 vehicles, we will need to know in advance and collect an additional $35 for each 2 vehicles. If rubber touches parking lot – it is a vehicle. That includes cars, golf carts, motorcycles, and trailers. If you arrive to the complex and have additional vehicles, additional parking permits will not be provided for those vehicles and they will be subject to the complex’ towing policies in effect at the time. There is nothing we can do about this, unfortunately, and we turn over that money to them. This applies to rentals of 1-7 days in duration. For rentals that are longer than that the charge is $70 per month for each 2 vehicles. If you have 2 vehicles and are staying 30 nights it will be $70. If you have 3-4 vehicles it will be $140. We will need to ask you in advance how many vehicles you will be bringing so that we can request additional funds from you if necessary as the platforms no longer allow us to collect those fees off-platform. Again – the parking/resort/amenities/facilities fee is one charged by the condominium complex, not by the owner of the condo or My Galveston Getaway and we appreciate your understanding.

The owner purchased the condo as a place to share with others through rentals when she and her kids are not there themselves. As the kids get older, they are not finding as much time as before to come and enjoy it so share it often with visitors to Galveston.
