This unique place has a style all its own - will you find your pirates treasure at Pirates' Compass? You'll definitely find your perfect vacation spot - a top floor, wonderfully remodeled and well thought out condo at the Victorian Condominium Complex in Galveston - convenient to - well..........the beach! And shopping, and eateries, and history, and tradition, and everything Galveston has to offer. The complex has 2 pools (1 heated in off-season, just under your balcony!) and 2 hot tubs.

Pirates Compass is a top floor condo overlooking one of the 2 pools (the one that's heated in off-season) and from the balcony your gulf view is nothing short of AH-Ma-Zing! Enjoy your coffee, or adult beverage out here and watch the pelicans soar and dive!

This condo was brand new in Summer of 2022 - from the floors to the ceiling and everything in between and the owners have tried to think of everything. A full kitchen - range, large refrigerator, microwave and cabinets stocked with all the drinkware, cookware, dinnerware, silverware (bring your own underwear!) you could possibly need whether you're planning to prepare your own meals or just warm up leftovers from Galveston's great eateries for a midnight snack.

The beds are comfy from the queen in the bedroom to the custom built bunk beds with individual lighting, to yes - even the sleeper sofa in the living room is the comfiest money can buy - so no one is drawing the "short straw" wherever you're sleeping while here.

You will have exclusive use of the entire condo - and share the pools, hot tubs, fitness center, tennis court and grounds including BBQ pergolas, fish cleaning station and a multitude of outdoor spaces with other guests and residents of the Victorian condominium complex.

You certainly COULD stay here without a car - you can walk to shopping, eateries and the beach, there is public transportation nearby, and there are several local and nationally "branded" taxi services as well as ride share (Uber, Lyft) programs in place as well as meal deliveries (UberEats, ASAP (formerly WAITR) and DoorDash available as well.

We provide self check in instructions 24-72 hours prior to arrival - and when you are on vacation - YOU ARE ON VACATION. Should you need to reach us, however, we are but a phone call or email away and ready to assist you. We are happy to answer any questions at any time, but to ensure we give you the correct code we cannot provide access instructions earlier than this.

The Victorian complex staff will greet you at their office upon arrival to verify you are a registered guest and collect the Facilities Access Fee that they charge all guests on property which is $35 per stay up to 14 days or $70 per month - and this fee provides you with up to 6 wristbands that identify you as registered guests on the property - codes to the entry gates both drive through and walk-through, as well as codes to access pools, outdoor restrooms, fitness center - as well as up to 2 parking permits valid for the duration of your stay.

What's included: Bed linens for all beds, bath, hand and wash cloth for each guest that the unit welcomes. We do not provide beach/pool towels and we do ask that ours not be removed from the condo and taken to the beach or pool. They can get damaged or lost.

Starter supplies: 2 rolls of 2-ply, quilted toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, a dishwasher tablet, small dishwashing liquid, sponge, 2 small soaps, 2 small shampoos, trash bag, and coffee including sweeteners, stir sticks, powdered creamer to make that first pot. These are not intended to last your entire group through your entire stay - but to get in, get situated and figure out where you will shop for what on the island.

The Victorian complex does not allow renters to have a pet – so if you travel with Fido or Fifi – please check out the other My Galveston Getaway managed properties that ARE dog friendly. While true service animals are an exception – you very well may be asked by the complex to provide the verification. For short term rental/vacation purposes – emotional support animals are not considered true support animals and we are unable to make exceptions to a rule that is in place and enforced by a complex in which we manage condos. Kindly be respectful. All properties managed by My Galveston Getaway are 100% non-smoking/non-vaping properties.


Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $100.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges (less $100.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
